Fiat Chrysler SA has a host of new models on the horizon. This month it will launch its new Tipo hatchback to try to compete in the Volkswagen Golf segment, while later this year it will launch the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV. It will also launch a pair of rather different crossovers.
First will be the Fiat Panda Cross, which brings back memories of the old Panda 4×4. Expect all-wheel drive, off-road electronic driver assistance systems and punchy engines.
If the exchange rate plays ball then the company will also bring in the new Jeep Compass, but do not expect it to be the budget model the outgoing generation is. Like the latest Cherokee, it is likely to move a little more upmarket — and so will its pricing. – BD Motor News
