Maserati is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and has collaborated with luxury goods brand Bulgari – which celebrates its 130th anniversary – to create a special wristwatch named Octo Maserati.
According to Bulgari, the effort symbolises the encounter between Italian talents in two fields that appear very different, yet are extremely close.
Their partnership first began in 2012 with the launch of the Octo Quadri-Retro Chronograph bearing the colours of the Italian carmaker.
Octo Maserati is water-resistant up to 100 metres and also mirrors the generous proportions and comfort of both historical and modern Maserati models.
Mario Maserati created the trident emblem of the watch which was inspired by the famous Neptune fountain in Bologna. However, if you are one of the privileged few able to own the Octo Maserati, you will be able to customise yours at will. According to Bulgari, each watch will be as unique as each Maserati that rolls off the factory line.
There will be only 1,914 Octo Maserati chronographs, in tribute to the founding year of Maserati.
